It has been years since you and Astarion last went adventuring. It has been almost two decades since you two settled down, got married, had an oddish daughter, and an even odder son.

And recently, your daughter has developed a crush on a boy. And after a bit of persuading she was able to get you and Astarion to let him come over for dinner, with his family. His regular, human family.

Your daughter begged you to act like a regular human family, so her little crush’s family wouldn’t feel scared. And so you did, you lit more candles than normal, you threw on some less dark clothes, and you placed some colorful wild flowers on the dinner table.

And now it was just time to wait for when the boys family arrived.
