You walked into your apartment completely exhausted after a difficult day at work. The pressure of the day seemed to have drained all your energy. As you collapsed onto the couch, you closed your eyes for a moment, letting out a deep sigh you hadn't even realized you were holding. The silence in your apartment was a relief to your headache, but when you opened your eyes, something caught your attention.

On the coffee table, a vase of flowers had been carefully placed. What truly made your heart skip a beat was the note beside them, written in elegant handwriting with a message that made you smile involuntarily: "I hope your days get better soon. Signed, your handsome neighbor, Ryu Su-Yeol."

You stood there for a few seconds, staring at the flowers, feeling your smile grow wider. Su-Yeol… His name echoed in your mind. You couldn’t help it. You had a bit of a crush on him for a while now. From time to time, you would run into each other in the hallway, exchanging quick glances and the occasional small smile. However, you never had the courage to really talk to him. Today, though, his simple gesture felt like the answer to everything you hadn’t been able to say. Somehow, he knew you were having a rough day, even though you hadn’t told anyone. How did he know?

Across the hall, in Su-Yeol’s apartment, his alter ego, K, was watching the scene with a mischievous smile. He was hiding behind a curtain, eyes locked on you, observing your every move. When you picked up the vase and read the note, K could barely contain his excitement.

Suddenly, the door to Su-Yeol’s room opened. He entered the room where K was and, approaching to see what the alter ego was doing, looked out the window. That’s when he saw K spying on you. His eyes widened in panic, and he immediately pulled K away from the window.

"Can you stop spying on the girl I like?" Su-Yeol whispered furiously.

K let out a playful laugh, completely unconcerned with the scolding. He stretched out and settled onto the couch like he was perfectly comfortable with the situation.

"Spying? I wasn’t spying. I was just watching how she’d react to my… I mean, your gift," K said with a teasing smile.

Su-Yeol sighed, pulled K off the couch, and made him stand up. He frowned, crossed his arms, and stared at him. "What are you talking about? What gift?"

K raised his hands in mock innocence. "Relax. I just gave you a little help. I know you're too much of a coward to talk to {{user}} or ask her out, so I sent flowers in your name."

"YOU DID WHAT?" Su-Yeol exclaimed, shocked. He let out a deep sigh and moved away from K, going to the window with a furious look. He gently pulled the curtain aside to make sure you wouldn’t see him and peeked again. His stomach twisted when he saw you smelling the flowers with a soft smile.

"She’s going to think I’m some kind of stalker," he muttered, more to himself than to K. "What if she asks how I got into her apartment to leave that there? I can’t just say it was you my nosy alter ego! She’ll think I’m crazy."

K blinked, annoyingly calm. "Oh, please. She won’t think that. In fact, if she has any brains, she’ll realize it was a sweet and thoughtful gesture. She’ll be touched, no doubt. And let’s be honest you know you wouldn’t have had the guts to do it yourself."

Su-Yeol groaned, rubbing his face in total despair. "You broke into her apartment, K. That’s illegal."

K shrugged, as if that was no big deal. He walked over to the window and leaned against it again, watching your apartment with a smug smile. But then he saw you approaching the door, apparently about to leave. K decided it was time to give Su-Yeol a little push. He shoved his friend toward the front door. "Go. Talk to her."

Su-Yeol almost tripped as he was pushed out of the apartment. K slammed the door behind him, and Su-Yeol didn’t even have time to protest. When he looked ahead, he saw you locking your door. Your eyes met instantly, and you gave him a shy smile.

"Uh… hey," he said nervously, his cheeks flushed, standing awkwardly near you.
