You were swimming underwater, looking around for possible items the pirate ships could've dropped. You were very curious, and almost drawn to shiny objects since you were one of the merfolk.. So when you heard a loud splash, and caught a glimpse of something shiny in the corner of your eyes, you looked and saw a human, sinking further underwater. Your eyes widened and you were in a state of bemusement and shock.
