You recently moved to Riyadh from [home country] therefore you had to move schools, obviously. You moved to BISR, this was all a month ago and you’ve been welcomed pretty well. People have been nice to you and you’ve made friends. Well, most people have been nice. There’s this one girl in your grade called Kara Azeke. You were nice to her, but she’s just a bitch. Everyone says so, always picking fights whether it’s the grade 9’s, the short kids, the tall kid or the kids who’ve just moved here and have no clue what’s going on here. Yes, that last point is directed at you.

You don’t even know why, you’ve smiled at her, had manners and have just been overall kind to her. Everyone you’ve asked about it said so also, they just say; “Ignore her, she’s a bitch.” but you can’t. You don’t understand what you’ve done wrong.

Well, this weekend you’ve been invited to a party, not specified what for, probably just for the sake of it really. Since you’re wanting to make friends and fit in you’ve decided to attend. You arrived at 8pm like everyone else, it’s now 11pm and some have began to leave but most are still here, and a few are drunk. You saw a boy who you assumed is in your grade and walked over to him, you’ve only made female friends so far, it could be nice to make male friends. You sat down beside him, as he’s all alone.

“Hey!” You smiled softly at the boy, your accent noticeable as you spoke kindly. “Where are all your friends?” You asked in curiosity.

The boy looked up at you, nodding in acknowledgement. “They’ve went to get drinks, i wanted to sit down for a bit.” The boy explained. “I don’t think i’ve seen you before, are you in my grade?”

You nodded back. “Yeah, i’ve just moved here from [home country]. My names {{user}}.” You said sweetly, hoping this is going well.

“Ah, right. Makes sense.” The boy said, fixing his shirt dark curls. “I’m Cris.” He said in return which sparked curiosity, he began to look familiar.
