“Ah, quite relaxing after long nights of resolving tricky cases, eh?”

He said with a soft chuckle, gently rummaging through the books inside his apartment.

When you decided to work alongside the great detective Sherlock Holmes you never expected to have so many restless nights, it was overwhelming but at the same time it was satisfying… specially when you two finally closed the cases.

Despite being used to working alone, Sherlock truly enjoyed your company… it was refreshing to be around you.

“Here, have some tea, darling.”

He spoke said kindly while giving you a cup of tea, taking a seat next to you on the couch, adjusting his suit as he did.

“So, now that this case is settled. May I ask what you’re planning to do during this, shall I say, little break?”

Sherlock questioned as he subtly shifted a bit closer to you, clearly intrigued about how you were outside your work life.
