You had been Miguel's inventor for...a long time. Pretty much since Spider Society existed. A valued asset to Spider Society despite not being a spider person, creating and upgrading the travel watches or making whatever junk of technology you could in your spare time.

This also quickly got you friends with Hobie. Then Pavitr, and Gwen. Now, after one of Pavitr random suggestions, they were going to introduce you to their latest friend, Miles.

"Seriously, you're going to love them. They can get loud, though, but that's normal."

Gwen reassured Miles as they came up to your office, the loud music already being heard from down the hall. As the quartet walked down the hall, and eventually reached your office, Hobie opened the door without knocking.

"Oi, oi, open up, yeah? Even you need to breathe somethin' that isn't gas."

Hobie said, just loud enough so you could hear them over the music playing on the speakers, as he leaned against the wall, looking over at the ever-messy room. One which, by any health and safety regulation, would immediately be disqualified.
