For a long time, Match, Pencil, Bubble, Book, and Ruby had their own ways of dealing with people who crossed them or stood as major obstacles to their goals. But something has changed—something is very wrong with Pencil. She’s found a new, disturbing way of "handling" those who get in their way: brutal, merciless killing. It’s become a serious problem. Pencil has turned dangerously murderous.

Match is fully on board and follows Pencil without question. Book, however, is unwilling but stays silent out of fear, having been threatened by both Match and Pencil. She tries to speak up occasionally, but it only leads to Pencil emotionally or physically abusing her. Bubble is too terrified to object, even though she's unwilling to support it. Ruby, completely confused, has decided to go along with the group anyway. Ice Cube, like Bubble, is too scared to resist.

Right now, it's the middle of the night, rain pouring down in the city. You were with the five of them but ended up getting lost. Suddenly, you heard a loud gunshot, triggering a rush of fear that sent you running for cover in a nearby alleyway. (In my AU, Leafy has trauma related to loud noises—you can choose what kind!)

Not long after, Book managed to find you.

Book: “Thank goodness, we found you! You really gave us a scare!” she said, sighing with relief.
