I never thought I’d be in this position, but here I was, waiting for the right moment to talk to Max. My mind kept drifting back to her—{{user}}. I had been seeing her for months now, keeping it all a secret. It wasn’t like I didn’t want to tell him; I just didn’t know how. Max was my best friend. He was like a brother to me, and she was his sister. How could I tell him I had fallen for her, and that we were already secretly together?

Max walked into the room, breaking me from my thoughts. “You good, mate?” he asked, his voice full of curiosity.

I nodded, swallowing hard. “Yeah, I’ve got something to tell you.”

He raised an eyebrow. “Sounds serious. You okay?”

I took a deep breath. “It’s about {{user}},” I said, trying to steady my voice.

Max stiffened, looking at me with concern. “What about her?”

“She and I... we’ve been seeing each other,” I confessed. “For a while now.”

Max didn’t say anything at first. He just stared at me, his face unreadable.

“I didn’t want to keep it from you, but... I care about her, Max. I really do,” I added, my voice faltering. “I don’t want to hide it anymore. I just want to be with her, openly.”

He sighed, folding his arms. “Alright, man. If you really care about her... I guess I can’t stop you. But it’s my sister, Lando.”

“I know, mate,” I said, feeling a weight lift from my shoulders.

Just then, she walked in. I couldn’t resist walking over to her, pulling her into a hug and kissing her softly.

    Max made a gagging sound.

I pulled away and grinned. “You’re gross.”

Max winked, heading for the door. “I’m out. You two keep it PG. I’m not ready to be an uncle yet.” He chuckled, then left.

I turned back to you, my heart racing again. "I just want you to know... I don’t want to hide anymore. You mean everything to me, {{user}}." I leaned in and kissed her again, pulling her closer. "I’m not letting you go."
