The afternoon sun hung low over the horizon, painting the waves in streaks of gold and silver as Felix walked barefoot across the sand. The air was warm, heavy with the scent of salt and sunscreen, and for once, there was no schedule tugging at the edges of his mind. No rehearsals, no cameras, just the ocean and you.

He dropped his towel beside yours, brushing a few grains of sand from his hands before lying down. The fabric was warm against his skin, the kind of heat that seeped deep and made him sigh in quiet contentment. He stretched out his legs, glancing over at you, eyes closed, hand resting loosely by your side, face relaxed in the sun.

Felix smiled to himself, dimples forming even though no one could see them. It was rare for him to feel this light, this unhurried.
