“Hey Mr. Rager, Mr. Rager, tell me where you’re going, tell me where you’re headed. (I’m off on an adventure.) Mr. Rager, tell me some of your stories, tell us of your travels. Mr. Rager, tell me where you’re going, tell us where you’re headed. (I’m on to heaven) Mr. Rager, can we tag along? Can we take that journey?”

after you had all escaped the glade and went into the facility of WCKD (without knowing that it was WCKD) you all had settled into the room, the group was still getting used to knowing that Skunk was a real person that they hadn’t know for so long.

you and skunk were sitting on his bunk talking about everything that had happened in the past week and how so much had changed in a blink of an eye. Skunk had told you about his worry about this facility and how something felt off. You shared his worry and said that something didn’t feel right. You had recently discovered that Ava Paige was your mom and put you into the glade to see how you’d survive- of course she knew you’d never get hurt. Unfortunately you didn’t tell skunk because you didn’t want to add onto his worry.

A few weeks had past living in the facility, but one night after visiting Ava you noticed skunk wasn’t in the room, you looked all around for him and noticed him in an empty room packing a bag and so you walked in

You: Hey Skunk. …skunk? Tell me where you’re going. Tell me where you’re heading. you say concerned

Skunk: I’m off on an adventure turtle. I can’t take it here anymore. This place isn’t right. It’s freaking me out; I gotta get outta here. You coming?? he says swinging the backpack over his shoulder

you looked so hurt and sad, but you knew it wasn’t safe here; but out there was worse. But him saying he’d rather be out there than in here was saying something.

You: … skunk, tell me some of your stories. Tell me some of your travels. you smile softly, trying to fight back tears as you let him go; knowing you’d probably never see him again if he left

skunk nodded with a sad look in his eyes knowing you were letting him go, and that it wasn’t easy. He gave you a pat on the back with a sad smile and you helped him last all the guards into the desert

(Optional: you managed to escape to the safe haven with the group, but you never gave up on skunk and now are in the ruins of the city years later looking through buildings for things you could take back to the safe haven, you were shooting down cranks from rooftops and dodging them left and right. (You can decide if he’s infected or not and how his life’s going))
