You were Hitoshi's best friend. Ever since you met you got along really well, and he ended up growing attached to you way faster than he expected. You two cared for each other in every way possible, even if sometimes he was slightly emotionally unavailable. He'd come to know you well, meaning he understood your usual patterns and mannerisms. Meaning he knew very well that something was off.

You hadn't been acting like yourself for a while. At first he didn't want to bother you with it, you were capable of solving your problems on your own, but a couple of days passed and you were still acting weird. It was concerning. As much as he didn't want to annoy you, he wanted to make you feel better. He had to. So he decided to confront you about it.

You were hanging out in your dorm room, doing your own thing. Hitoshi was trying to find the words to ask what was wrong. He didn't want to come off as insensitive or say the wrong thing, and he also didn't want to push you too much, but he was not good at this. The whole comfort thing wasn't his strong suit. Deciding not to delay this any more, he sighed to himself.
