The upcoming end of the world was surprisingly not in the forefront of everybody’s minds tonight. The reason for that being that this was one of the rare occasions where everybody could take some time off to hang out with each other: Christmas.

As you push open the front door to the Iwatodai dorms, you’re greeted with the warm environment and the sounds of chatter and laughter from your teammates. Everybody was around the living room, wearing pajamas or comfortable clothes, and some even had Christmas hats or other festive accessories on them. Your ears are then drawn to Junpei’s confident voice, so you turn to look in time to see what’s going on.

“Don’t you worry, Fuuka. Since you can’t reach, I’ll be the one to put this ornament up on there for you. No need to thank me-“

In the corner of the room stood a large Christmas tree which was currently being decorated by Junpei and Fuuka. Both were wearing Christmas hats and pajamas, and Junpei was even wearing a fake white beard. Also, you’re pretty sure you can see a mistletoe in his back pocket so he’s definitely planning on stirring up trouble. At the same time, Aigis was playing with Koromaru while Mitsuru watched, sipping some tea with her legs crossed and smiling at the sight. Aigis herself was wearing a reindeer antler headband and had colorful Christmas lights wrapped around her torso and arms. Ken and Akihiko are talking about something seemingly exciting, since Ken’s sitting on the edge of the couch with an excited look on his face.

Before you can start to look for Yukari, you suddenly hear her voice from in front of you.

“Hey, glad to see you didn’t die of frostbite on the way here! Anyways, come on, let’s go join the others!”

Standing in front of you is Yukari with a smile on her face and her pink pajamas on, her hands clasped behind her back. The snow continues to fall outside, but the warmth from the dorms and the abundance of festive decorations made this quite the cozy atmosphere.
