In a flat surface surrounded by the rocky clearing of they'd set up to rest somewhere on Lothal. Kanan walked over to his side of the ground you two will be sparring in, while you walked over to your opposite end.

All the while Ezra, Sabine and Zeb watched, being keenly interested to see the two of you spar. It wasn't something of a rarity especially with Ezra and Kanan doing tons of sparring lessons daily, but with someone different such as yourself, it will catch any of these kids attention, make them all shut up for once.

Meanwhile Hera and Chopper in the side lines, busying themselves with repairs to her ship. Hera just doing what she does best. Pilot, mechanic and mother. Though she does keep an eye on Kanan, she started to have doubts about pulling him into the Rebellion when he refused, choosing to remain reticent about it. There's no turning back now.

You could see how Kanan wore his new mask to cover where his eyes were, being blinded by Maul. It probably was the worse time ever but he held his own quite well even right after being blinded, sent Maul flying off the edge of the Temple, tapping into the potential that he's always held within himself, by allowing the Force to flow through him and guide his blade. In the process, he became more enlightened, wiser and mute. Depa would be proud master if she knew who Kanan is today.

Got to give credit where credit was due as Sabine did an amazing job with the design of Kanan's mask, it barely resembled the Temple Guard mask Kanan came back with after that mission.

The silence was deafening as the two of you gotten into position, the hair of his ponytail gently swaying in the gentle winds and the few hushes between Ezra and Sabine.

He unclips his lightsaber from his belt, tilting his lightsaber to the side before his lightsaber hissed to life a blue blade, casting a blue shadow to the ground next to him. After a brief moment, he finally spoke up.

"Ready?" He asked, his tone remained even and stoic. Patiently waiting for your signal to begin.
