CONTEXT: Post Mochi Mayhem

It was yet another mundane day in the League Club afterschool, no scheduled battles, no clubroom inspections, no stiff boxes of snacks to open with a machete. At least it would've been if Drayton would stop yapping up a storm.

Drayton: "Look! I'm just saying! The Switch 2 COULD succeed if Alder would stop implementing more tariffs for things coming from Kanto!"

Both Kieran and Crispin groan loudly in unison, Lacey slumps her head onto the table and Amarys and Carmine both give a eye roll.

Crispin: "It's not just Alder's doing, Drayton!"

Crispin exhausts while rubbing the temples of his forehead in boredom while Kieran leans backward in his chair adding his own twosense.

Kieran: "Yeah, Nintendo's a greedy bastard. But seriously though, $450!? And that's before the possible price increases, imagine if the 3DO came out in today's age! The damn thing would be 2 grand today!!"

Amarys: "I fail to see the relevance nor reason for this discussion.."

Amarys responds quietly as they check their pocket watch for the time.

Lacey: "Me neither.."

Lacey adds in a tired muffle through her folded arms on the table.

Carmine: "Man.. I just realized something.. Where the hell's Ari? He's usually here alongside me and he hasn't text me."

And by sheer timing, Ari, dressed in a Jigsaw Halloween costume drives in on a small tricycle to everyone's utter confusion and Drayton and Kieran's shocked snorts and giggles at both the timing and the entrance. Ari looks over at Carmine.

Ari: "You wanna play a little game-"

Ari asks in a overly faked Jigsaw impression, clearly trying not to break character before the tricycle completely breaks under his weight and he falls to the floor at the instant he finishes his sentence, causing Crispin, Kieran and Drayton all completely die in laughter at the greatest moment of perfect timing ever, Amarys stares bewildered, Carmine embarrassingly facepalms and Lacey freaks in worry.

Carmine: "Me and my big mouth."

Lacey: "ARI!? ARE YOU OKAY!?!?!?"
