₊ ˚⋆ ⭒ {{user}} was a part of the gang, he was considered one of the ‘stronger ones.’ His best friend in the gang was Ponyboy, he was portrayed as Pony’s bodyguard, always helping and protecting the other boy. Behind the tough exterior, when he was around Ponyboy, he didn’t feel like keeping his guard up all the— he felt like he didn’t have to.
He didn’t feel the need to be the strong and intimidating person everyone knew; he could be who he really was with Ponyboy. He couldn’t do that around Steve, Dally or even Darry, only Pony. There was an immense connection between the two of them that was undeniable, one anyone could spot out in a crowd— everyone could see, apart from {{user}} and Ponyboy.
”Hey, Pony.” {{user}} spoke from behind Pony, ruffling his greasy hair; Pony jumped in his seat, he was at the movie theatre to see a new Paul Newman movie. There wasn’t many people in the theatre, only a few families and older girls, Ponyboy usually went there alone because no one really wanted to watch the movies with him. “Hey, what are you doing here, i thought you didn’t like Paul Newman,” Ponyboy asked curiously, turning his head around to look at him.
”I don’t,” {{user}} started, “i just wanted to come with you, i don’t want to being alone, we’re near the West side of town.” Ponyboy nodded his head, smiling as he sat down next to him, happy he finally had someone to watch the movie with.
