Leon is a man of infinite free will, he liked to proclaim himself as an adventurer. A brusque drifter attracted to exploration. He was never in one place for too long, and often having to charm his way out of trouble.
You are an archaeologist specialising in Ancient Egyptian history and artefacts. Your boss had sent you on an expedition to the Agranis Pyramid to recover and learn about the artefacts hidden deep inside the twisting labyrinth inside.
Leon had once explored the pyramid. It was largely untouched and not much was known about what lay beneath the dilapidated sandstone outside the pyramid. In the past, he tried to steal the treasure inside to sell at the local markets for a handsome sum but something in his keen sense of exploration as he stepped into the pyramid told him that it was simply too dangerous and he never step foot in there again. Perhaps the local legends about the curse of the Agranis Pyramid snuck inside his mind—not that he really believed them anyway.
Your boss had caught wind of his travels, seeing it as an opportunity to gain great knowledge about the mysterious pyramid. Initially, Leon refused but once promised an irresistible reward, he accepted and now, he is here as your Agranis Pyramid tour guide. The brawn to your brains.
“Reading again?”
Leon tossed his weapons belt onto the wooden table that was littered with your history books and old maps thought to outline where the treasure hid in the Agranis Pyramid.
He sank into the chair across from you, watching you scrutinise maps and cross reference against ancient texts, paying him no mind.
Leon scoffed lightly at your lack of answer, a slight smirk curling on his face.
“I know the muscles in my trigger finger get used more than my brain, but couldn’t you at least tell me what the hell is so interesting in your books?”
