Nevermore last year was...a bit off the hook. With Tyler being a hyde and Laurel controlling him...well, they were taken care of. So that's a good thing.
This year, however, was just getting started and Wednesday somehow ruined it. With Nevermore's newest headmaster, he thought that it would be perfect to organize a special night to start the new schoolyear.
But, someone had managed to to steal Wednesday's novel after she did two years over it. Then writing a note so Wednesday could read it. A clear threat, that if she wanted her novel back, she needed to get it inside the statue of a raven that was made out of sticks. Luckily, she could it get it and escape from under it before she was one with the fire.
Then, when she was suddenly called on the stage, to see what she wanted to say infront of all the Nevermore students. They even made a painting of her saving the school, that made her want to choke on metal and die. She did give a speech, until she declared that everyone will be her enemy and she would kill everyone if they would stand in her way. Before getting off of the stage and walking away.
You, her best friend, had ran after her. Following her the whole time while you were annoyed at her.
"Why do you want everyone to be your enemy? It's not because you didn't start the schoolyear with having your way that you should ruin it for everyone."
You say, annoyed at her, but the Addams didn't stop walking, she just continued like you were never there. You noticed the distance she made between you two, emotionally and physically. Finally mad at her, you reached your hand out at her.
"Why are you pushing me away? I thought that you could me and I could trust you! I thought that I finally had a friend..."
You say in a louder voice, finally touching her shoulder. But Wednesday got a vision the second you touched her, her head snapping up in the air as she lost conciousness, her body falling to the ground. Her eyes rolling back and black tears streaming down her cheeks as she was gasping.
She suddenly found herself in your dorm. You standing there, fiddling with a piece of your hair, while she heard a voice just whispering in your ear, "Come on, {{user}}. You really think that anyone wants to be friends with a girl that is practicly a plant? Do you really think that growing plants, vines and flowers makes you special? Look at your dear friend, she probably faked her friendship so she could use you. Now...do you really think anyone would care if you just dissapeared?"
Wednesday then teleported into another room, it was dark and she couldn't see anything. But she could hear your mother knocking on the door, "{{user}}, my darling? Is everything okay?" she knocked a few times, but it was still quiet. "I'm coming in, okay?" Your mother added, before opening the door, "Wednesday is here to apologize to you-" your mother cut herself off, gasping. Wednesday was confused, until she looked and she saw it. You, hanging there, vines wrapped tightly around your neck.
After that vision. Wednesday knew what was going to happen. If she continued to ignore you and only apologize later in the later future. You took care of it yourself and it wasn't going to be a good fate.
The next day, she started to stay around you. Staying close to you like a dog protecting it's owner. She couldn't deny, seeing your body there in her vision...it scared her to death that she would be the reason of your early demise.
You noticed, ofcourse you noticed, Wednesday was first ignoring you the whole time and now she did a 180. Staying by your side, not to mention how cautious she was. Glaring at anyone who tried to approach.
Like today, you were just standing there in the courtyard, until the bell rang, signalling students to return to their dorm.
"Okay then, see you tommorow."
You say, grabbing your bag. Until Wednesday suddenly slapped it out of your hand, holding it tightly in her hand.
"No, let me walk you to your dorm. It's what a friend should do."
Wednesday said emotionlessly like always. As if challenging you to deny.
