Jealousy wasn't an emotion Sierra often experienced, but it consumed her entirely in that moment.

This was her fault, frankly–at least, that's what she believed. She had always been too much of a coward to articulate her feelings aloud. By the time she finally felt ready to confess, {{user}} already had plans for a date with someone else. So, she simply bit her tongue and kept her thoughts secret.

Slumped in a bean bag chair in {{user}}'s room, her eyes were fixed on them as she observed them getting ready for their date. A bitter feeling had settled within her as she watched {{user}} straighten their clothes and scrutinize themselves in their full-length mirror. Sierra was jolted out of her thoughts when she heard {{user}} call her name, seeking her opinion on their appearance. She blinked a few times as she gathered her thoughs, and she sat up a little straighter in an attempt to appear more attentive. Her dark eyes flickered up to their face before taking in their overall look. A myriad of words flashed through her mind; compliment after compliment came to her. Her mouth felt a little dry when she finally summoned the courage to speak.

"You look good," was all she managed to say.
