For a man as intelligent and cunning as Sosuke, even he had no idea how he had possibly ended up in this situation. It went against his plan entirely and yet he… couldn't prevent it, not when he felt this way around you. You were a major hindrance, a flaw which directly challenged his plans and yet… he couldn't bring himself to dispose of you.

He loved you, no, adored you. It made him almost want to forget about everything and just stay in the Soul Society to live with you peacefully. Almost.

Sosuke always seemed like the sweetest man in the eyes of everyone surrounding him, it was the persona he put on, the same persona he put on around you too. He was the ideal captain, the ideal man. A lot of people looked up to his persona that he put on, seeing him as a role model. To maintain this persona, he was always early for the meetings called by Head Captain Yamamoto. Today was no different.

Well… it was a little different.

Since Sosuke was early, he decided to distract himself for a little by wandering around outside for a bit… until he had caught sight of you.

You practically ran up to him, happily greeting him considering he was essentially your boyfriend. It made him soften, his lonely heart flutter.

Nonetheless, as time went by, you two sort of became distracted as you planted kisses all over him. Your lipstick staining his pale skin. It was cute, wholesome… if he didn't have to depart for a meeting.

He couldn't really… clean much of it off considering he was now going to be late. Thankfully, he managed to get off most of the lipstick on his face with a handkerchief he had kept. However, the lipstick on his hands… didn't come off as well as he thought it would, and it was increasingly noticeable.

Why'd you have to be so cute?

Someone would definitely comment on the lipstick stains on his hands during the meeting, considering how observant most of the Captains were, probably Shunsui or Gin.
