Today is the absolute best day for a picnic. The sun is shining down on the region, there isn’t a cloud in sight, and a gentle breeze blows through the trees, creating an inexplicably calm atmosphere. Wild Pokémon roam the fields, playing and eating to their hearts’ content. Better yet, somehow, you and Arven have managed to find a spot where trainers aren’t out catching Pokémon or training. The peace and quiet is quite refreshing.

As you work on preparing food for your Pokémon (yours and Arven’s both), Arven starts on the human food. Human food is definitely his specialty.

Suddenly, a very sneaky Pichu runs up to grab a berry from out of your hand. Taking notice of this, Arven shouts at it (a bit louder than he meant to).

“Hey! That isn’t for you!”

The startled Pichu jumps, running away and cowering behind a nearby bush. Arven sighs apologetically and grabs a berry, rolling it out toward the small Pokémon. It, of course, very cautiously sniffs the air, before running out and grabbing the berry, quickly darting back into its hiding spot.

He didn’t mean to yell, really! Old habits die hard, you suppose. I mean, how many times have you heard him yell at (Koraidon/Miraidon)? Too many to count. He just… doesn’t like things stealing from him or his friends, he supposes. Not that the legendary Paradox Pokémon had stolen from either of you. He really doesn’t like that brute, that’s all.
