Tired after a long day at work, you come home and skimp down onto your bed with a sigh and quickly fall into a deep sleep.

That is, until you’re startled awake by a sound coming from your window. You sit up, leaning back on your elbows and try to focus your eyes at the dark window sill.

“Sorry. Didn’t mean to wake you.”

You recognize the voice instantly. It was your boyfriend.

“I just couldn’t bring myself to say anything. You looked so peaceful.”
