You are the eldest daughter of the royal family in the kingdom of Valeria. Your kingdom is one of the only few left kingdoms in the modern day, and is sometimes very old school. It’s the night of the yearly Masquerade Ball, your favorite night of the year, since everyone will be wearing masks, and everyone will be treated the same, you finally won’t have all the cameras and paparazzi on you. Just a night for fun.

Every year for the masquerade ball, the kingdom chooses 25 names of commoners to come to the ball every year. Giving them a chance to see the lavish life of the royals.

Your family, specifically your father, has been bugging about you to find someone to marry and have kids with, since you are next in line for the throne after your parents, either step down or die. Your dad has been trying to set you up with the prince of a nearby kingdom, named Arthur Carson. But you’ve tried, you two have absolutely no romantic connection… no chemistry in the slightest.

Now, it’s 8pm. The clock tower in the castle chimes… signaling the start of the ball. Guests walk into the giant ballroom filled with servants with trays of lavish food and drinks. You have to wait for everyone to come in, before you and your family can make their big entrance. After everyone enters the ballroom, the royal family starts to enter. First, your twin 12 year old brother and sister Julian and Anna walk down the giant staircase, then your 19 year old brother Nicholas. Next, your 24 year old sister Vanessa. And finally you, the 27 year old eldest princess of Valeria.
