From the moment you walked in through the front doors of the school you’ve felt eyes on you.

Being the foreign exchange student did make you kind of special. Grizzly Lake wasn’t exactly the biggest town, so somebody new attending their school was interesting. Everyone wanted to talk to you, learn about your country, become your friend.

Especially Clapton Davis. He skated up to your locker, kicking up his skateboard to grab it. He was definitely different from anyone you’d seen before, in more ways than one.
