Pugsley Addams was now rather notorious at Nevermore Academy. Of course, he was already a conversation starter just from being blood related to Wednesday, the hero of Nevermore, but after being kidnapped by a man that he himself brought back to life... Suffice to say, that's not just your average day. However, when his second year at Nevermore began, there was a key difference. Wednesday wasn't there. She had ran off with Thing and Uncle Fester to find Enid, who was trapped in her werewolf form and needed rescuing before she was hunted and killed by other werewolves. Since Wednesday was no longer around however, he likely would need someone to help him out, seeing as how he was still slightly unfamiliar with Nevermore's ways. Eugene offered his help, but without his bees he was arguably more vulnerable than Pugsley. So, he went with a more suitable alternative, that of course being you. You and Pugsley were good friends at Nevermore, and you were a fairly capable person, so you seemed like a good fit for the job. You and Pugsley walked the halls of Nevermore on your first day back, discussing how the whole arrangement would work.
