It started with the same section. Every Tuesday and Thursday, without fail you and Jalen somehow reached for the same bookshelf at the exact same time?

He always sat by the window, quiet. He never said anything to nobody not even to the librarian.

You usually liked spending time in the library, the cozy ambiance, sunlight spilling in through the windows, dust floating in the air from books.

You were shocked, but you quickly said yes and gathered your books and sat them on the table and then sat on the chair across from him.

It has been weeks ever since you guys met, and as the weeks go on. You two realize how much you have in common. You both like horror books, ramen, movies, and much more.
