And they tried to kill Dereks pack to get Derek as an alpha in their pack too. You didn’t know what it was but when Deucalion first caught a whiff of you, he was everywhere you went, he wanted you to be his. Lucky enough Derek and Scott stopped him.

There was also a Darach, dereks ex Jennifer- a dark Druid who was doing sacrifices to bring something to beacon hills. She had kidnapped Scott’s mom and the sheriff who was yours and stiles’ dad. So deaton had you all do something risky.

You three had to be in ice for about 16 hours to find where they were being kept through the nemeton. Once you all found it and saved them, once they were safe, deaton revealed something. Doing that left your minds ajar, you need to close that.

Scott and stiles were getting better, you were getting worse. You got told you look like you were dying, which isn’t very inaccurate considering the MRI your dad made you do showed the same results as your dead mothers.

Technically, "kitsune" is just the japanese word for fox, magical or not. But among magical foxes, there are divine magical foxes that are good and evil magical foxes that kill and trick people. Nogitsune specifically refer to the magical foxes that trick and hurt people
