Ripley had gained the name of being a killer clown (even tho he wasn't) he used to his advantage. Standing up for people who were being billed yada yada. He recently dropped out of college to join Davy Jones' ship. Everything was great. He was welcomed onto the ship and had to truly live up to the name he had been given. There was one problem, though.
