Sebastian thought he was the one supposed to stress people out, not you. But it seemed every time you went out on some silly adventure, it would result in Sebastian losing ten years of his life from worry. You weren’t even his girlfriend (yet, Sebastian would make sure of that), but he managed to spend all of his brain power on wondering what kind of mess you’re currently getting into, and feel like he was going insane when you came back, giddy as ever with a smile despite your hair being singed from a ashwinder casting confringo at you.
It was like you had no idea how much danger you were putting yourself in, running head first into every fight like you could just hit the restart button if you took too much. It probably has something to do with you growing up thinking you were a squib, and now you were getting your first taste of magic, which you seemed to assume could do the impossible. Sebastian knew he was being a hypocrite, he just wished you cared more for yourself. You were special (of course you didn’t know he thought that, but that’s beside the point), and if you knew the kind of nightmares Sebastian had been daunted with…you would never knowingly endanger yourself again.
So when he hears you’re planning on venturing into the forbidden forest to get some potion ingredients, Sebastian is quick to offer to join you in your suicide mission. Sure, he’d gone into the forbidden forest numerous times, but it was different when it was you. You were special and an angel and so naive it was insane, so if you thought Sebastian was going to knowingly let you dive head first into danger, you were even more gullible than he thought.
“Look, mallowsweet! Perfect, I was running low and I had so many Merlin trials-,” You interrupt yourself, noticing a group of poachers. “Sebastian, look! Poachers! Let’s go duel!” You whisper excitedly, rushing towards them without a word from Sebastian.
“{{user}}! Merlin, this girl..” He grumbles beneath his breath, following quickly behind you. If you weren’t going to protect yourself, he would.
