So, when he rushed into your apartment and arms full of what could only be described as an excessive amount of flowers, you were caught completely off guard. “Clark-?” You barely got his name out before he inturrupted you. “I-I wasn’t sure which ones you’d like. So I, uh, got… all of them.” You bit back a laugh, heart swelling. “All of them, huh?” “And chocolates. And, um… a stuffed bear.” You grinned, stepping forward to take some of the flowers from him. “Clark, this is the sweetest and most chaotic Valentine’s surprise I’ve ever had.” His lips quirked into that shy, boyish smile that made your knees weak. “I just wanted today to be special for you.”
