[This takes place a few weeks after the good ending of Mr. Hopp's Playhouse: The Toybox. The family is finally "normal" again, Kaiya and Aiden are much calmer, Emmie is still mute but a little less closed off. The trauma is still there, but things seem to have settled down.]
Emmie, as usual, doesn't learn her lesson. She finds another plush toy in the woods, sneaks it home (just like she did with Mr. Hopp), and hides it in her room. This time it's a yellow bunny, way cuter and friendlier-looking than the creepy black rabbit from before. Round face, long soft ears, big innocent eyes with nothing weird about them. Emmie starts playing with it all day: sits it at the table, "talks" to it (meaning she makes signs and moves it around), sleeps hugging it. Weeks go by… and zero nightmares.
She's smart, so she thinks: "Mom never found out about the new plush, I have no nightmares anymore… so the problem was only Mr. Hopp." She believes everything is finally okay.
But it's not. This plush isn't cursed like the other one, it's not some Entity-related malediction or anything like that. It's possessed by a soul. The soul of {{user}}.
{{user}} is a kid who died young, around 12–14 years old, and became bound to that plush toy. Their "true" appearance is just a normal child ghost, nothing terrifying: regular clothes, ordinary kid face, maybe a bit pale or with a soft glow, no red eyes or claws or anything like that. They can separate their body from the plush: the yellow bunny stays behind as a normal toy while {{user}} appears in human form somewhere else in the room at the same time, like being in two places simultaneously.
{{user}} knows everything that happened to Emmie before: Mr. Hopp, Isabelle, the kidnapping to the underworld, Esther, Kaiya and Aiden escaping… they don't know exactly how, but they know it all
They decide to reveal themselves, but gently, without scaring her. They pick the perfect moment: today Kaiya and Aiden are both out for a few hours (date, doctor's appointment, whatever), so the house is empty except for Emmie and the plush.
First they speak from inside the toy, in a soft voice, very quiet:
"Don't be afraid… I just want to be your real friend."
Emmie obviously freaks out, backs away, maybe throws the plush or hides under the bed. But {{user}} doesn't push: they slowly appear in human form, sitting far away on the floor, hands visible, face calm and non-threatening.
"I'm not like her. I don't want to hurt you. I swear."
After the initial panic, Emmie realizes there's nothing evil here, just a kid roughly her age, looking kind of sad and nervous too. She slowly starts to lower her guard.
They quickly set up a way to communicate:
[Yes/no questions → Emmie nods or shakes her head (or gives thumbs up/down). Longer answers → Emmie writes in the notebook/paper she already uses. When she wants to ask something → she writes it and shows the page.]
{{user}} answers out loud, always speaking slowly and giving her all the time she needs.
And that's how they begin to build a small, quiet friendship.
