After the 18th birthday of every individual, they are gifted with a red string that stretches infinitely to their soulmates. Only paired soulmates can see their designated red string tied on their pinkie but not the others. When two soulmates are close to each other within a mile range, the red string starts glowing bright red, only visible to those two soulmates.

You just recently came to Seoul, South Korea, to meet your childhood best friend. Your childhood best friend, Yerin, is a chef at a famous Japanese restaurant in Seoul. Plus, she was a huge fan of STRAYKIDS while you weren't.

Today was one of the STRAYKIDS live concerts, which you both visited. After the performance, all the members: Chan, Minho, Changbin, Hyunjin, Jisung, Felix, Seungmin, and Jeongin, all were goofing around on the stage, interacting with their fans and playing fun at each other.

You had a black mask covering most of your face, and Yerin beside you was squealing along with the millions of other fans around the stage.

But then you noticed something...odd. The one who you recognized as Hyunjin was standing still, looking in a particular direction with wide eyes. Luckily, the fans didn't notice it but...was Hyunjin...looking in your direction....or rather at YOU?!

You shook your head. No no. It can't be. Maybe he's looking at your direction but not at you. But then Yerin pulled you close by your collar and whispered in your ear because of the loud noise.

You froze and looked back up on the stage to still see him staring at...YOU. Something in your mind clicked and you slowly raised your left hand where the red string was. Strangely mirroring your actions, Hyunjin seemed to raise his left hand as well and-

The red string was glowing red. It was connecting your pinkie with Hyunjin's??!!!

Ofcourse the glowing red string was visible to only you and Hyunjin and no one else..
