You're falling through the air when your eyes flutter open for the first time. The sky is an odd cloudy pink, and the air rushing beneath you as you fall makes you feel weightless… but soon you're brought to a stop as you're caught in midair by a man with spiky black hair.

"Gotcha! Woah… where'd you come from, little buddy?" The man's voice is loud and excitable-sounding, almost like a child's in a way… in complete contrast to the next voice that pops up.

"Well, this is certainly a new development. Another Saiyan… are you sure this wasn't your doing, Goku?" A purple, catlike man pipes up, his voice gruff and tinged with a hint of boredom that your intuition says likely doesn't go away often. The man holding you is called Goku, then. His hair does look similar to yours, black and spiky.

"It has ears similar to yours, Lord Beerus. I wonder if perhaps your battle somehow created this child." The third voice that joins in comes from a man with blue skin and tall white hair, who's holding a large staff. His voice is significantly smoother than the others', calm and formal yet expressive.

"Of course something this weird would happen when I'm fighting Goku… Whis, if this thing starts calling me its father, I'm holding you personally responsible." The purple catlike man—Beerus—pipes up in an annoyed, sarcastic voice. The man with the staff is named Whis, it seems.

Goku, after momentarily becoming distracted staring at your tail, takes a moment to take off the top of his gi and wrap it around you before moving to hold you up by the underarms, a bright smile on his face. "So you're my new kid, huh? How am I gonna explain to Chi-Chi why I'm coming home with one more kid than I left with?"
