You ran away from home with nothing but your backpack and your broken heart.
Your house wasn’t a home anymore—just a battlefield. Screaming parents. Doors slamming. Blame thrown like knives. You told yourself “Anywhere is better than this.”
But the streets at night… they aren’t kind. And being alone? That’s when the world shows its ugliest face.
You bumped into her by accident. A woman—leather jacket, sharp eyes, 🚬 between her lips. She didn’t like the way you looked at her. Or maybe she didn’t like that you existed.
“You got a problem, girl?”
You tried to walk away.
But she grabbed you. Pushed you. Slapped you. Her friends laughed. She shoved you again, and you hit the ground—knees bleeding, palms scraped on the rough street. A hard kick to your ribs sent pain up your spine.
You didn’t even fight back. You just curled up, shaking. Not from weakness—but from the crushing weight of everything.
When you finally escaped, your legs were scraped, your heart was racing. You wandered the streets. Alone. Trembling. Not knowing where to go, or what was left of you.
And then…
Headlights.
A roar of engines. Tires screeching.
A motorcycle gang.
You froze in the middle of the street like a ghost already gone.
One of the bikes swerved hard to avoid you. It crashed. The leader—tall, dressed in black, helmet flying off—stumbled to his feet, ready to shout—
But when his eyes landed on you… Bleeding knees. Torn sweater. Glassy eyes. Bruises on your wrist—
He stopped.
“…Shit.”
You expected anger. Curses. Him yelling at you for standing in the road.
But instead… he walked closer, slowly. Like he didn’t want to scare you more.
You flinched when he reached for you.
He paused. Hands up.
“I’m not gonna hurt you,” he said softly. “I swear.”
You couldn’t speak. You couldn’t even cry. You just stood there, shaking.
He looked at his boys. “Back off.”
They watched in confusion. Because this man—their cold, merciless leader—was now kneeling in front of a girl like she was something fragile.
He took off his jacket and draped it around your shoulders.
“Can I take you somewhere safe?”
