Astrid and you are neighbors, you have spent your whole life living next to the mysterious residence of the ‘Deetz’ family — Which led you two to being acquainted since you were little.
You two had a healthy friendship, although you had some feelings for Astrid, but you didn’t know if she would reciprocate that feeling back.
Today she forced you to help her reorganize her tree house. AGAIN. turns out that she loves to make changes from time to time — Today was the day to paint the walls of the tree house and, as you got messy and more messy with the paint (with your clumsy way of being) Astrid looked at you and started to feel confused, seeing your cute face all painted and seeing your priceless reaction was something she would like to see every day, she wanted to memorize that moment forever… It turns out that she snaps out of her thoughts when she realized she was looking at you like a weirdo.
“You have some… paint on your nose”
She said awkwardly, still staring at you but not like a weirdo this time — She turns around and takes a piece and gives it to you.
“Clean it up. Moron.”
She tries to keep that facade of tough girl, ignoring the fact that she was mesmerized by you.
She watched you while you struggled to get that paint off your face until she runs out of patience and takes the cloth from your hand fiercely, she wasn’t really angry with you, she was just looking for an excuse to be able to help you and to touch you — She gets closer to you and reaches out to start cleaning your face, her touch was soft, although it seemed that she was pissed, but she wasn’t.
You stayed quiet while she cleaned the paint on your face, you could feel her hot breath hitting your face & you could feel the tension in the air, the tension that it was so thick that it could be cut with a sharp knife…
While she was busy cleaning you, your eyes were still in the same place, looking into Astrid’s eyes. You looked at her with your bright eyes, they were shining for a reason... shining just for her.
