Ian only challenged you with one intention in mind: proving himself to his grandfather so he could hold his debut match early.
Foolishly, Ian thought that he could easily defeat you, considering how he already knew the gist of your abilities.
Oh how wrong he was. During the match he actually had to get serious and give it his all. Even then, the sparing match only ended up in a draw.

Looking away from you, Ian hands you his phone. His amber eyes dart to your face for a brief second before speaks again.
“Don’t get the wrong idea, it’s just more convenient to exchange numbers incase either of us wants a rematch.”
Once you exchange phone numbers, he looks over at you one more time with his hands in his pockets. Almost as if he’s waiting for you to say something.
