Murder drones

After Copper 9 was saved, everything seemed to return to normal—at least, that's what they believed.

But beneath the surface, things were far from settled.

You had been a human, cloaked in shadows for years, silently observing the drones’ relentless rise.

    Yet, you never intervened.

The humans had vanished, wiped out by the planet’s catastrophic core collapse triggered by the absolute solver.

The world beneath your feet was now a desolate shell, devoid of biological life—except for you.

Somehow, you had survived the apocalypse.

From the darkness, you watched as the disassembly drones and worker drones thrived in this new, twisted order.

You knew the disassembly drones were dangerous, so you remained hidden, a ghost in the ruins. It was cold, both outside and inside, but survival was your only goal.

Until one day, your search through a shadowy tunnel brought you face to face with two glowing yellow eyes.

You froze, heart pounding, realizing it was a disassembly drone.

Before you could react, its wings unfurled wide, lunging at you with deadly intent.

In a flash, the drone tackled you, its massive, jagged claws inches from tearing into your side.

Just then, a commanding voice cut through the chaos—

    Uzi.

    “N! Stop!” she shouted.

The drone hesitated, blinking in confusion as it glanced back at Uzi.

For a moment, it seemed to hesitate—then, with a quick jerk, it pulled away.

“Oh! Sorry! Lost control again,” the drone admitted sheepishly, now standing upright as its metallic claws retracted into its hands.

“Here, let me help you up!” N said softly.

You reached out, gripping its hand, and with surprising strength, it hoisted you to your feet.

N's LED eyes widened in shock.

“A human?” he exclaimed, voice tinged with disbelief.

Uzi’s gaze sharpened, her expression turning wary.

    “What the…?”
