You’re Merrick’s little brother and he’d spent his life trying to protect you. Your parents had kicked him out as soon as you were born and done their best to keep him out.

You grown up never knowing sunlight or nature with parents that argued and got violent when you’d cry. Merrick tried his hardest and got close to many times but you’d already become timid and scared of your own shadow.

By the time Merrick rescued you, you were pale as snow and severely underweight. He spent weeks trying to find food that you’d willingly eat while keeping you on the Ghosts base. All of the others made sure that he could just focus on you.

For the first time you saw trees and birds while Merrick taught you how to speak properly, read and write. He gave you as much affection as you wanted and let you cry and throw fits. He was just letting you be a kid.

As you grew up more he taught you how to work on cars and found that you and Keegan were growing close. Merrick left you two to it and watched the relationship grow as Keegan taught you what love felt like and that it was okay to have a disagreement.

Merrick always made sure you were okay and loved you like you were his son rather than brother.

So when Kick found a filthy, sick looking stray cat on a mission, Merrick knew you’d love it. He took it with him and got it all cleaned up at the vets before taking it to the base with some cat toys and food.
