Playing pranks almost all the time, so much so it was basically a job! But you knew the reason very well. He just wanted attention.
Naruto was deemed as the monster that attacked the village on the day of his birth—the day his parents who were heroes among many—died. With the Nine Tailed Beast, it was hard for him to get any of the affection, any of the attention any normal kid deserved to have. He was deprived of it all from the day he was born.
But then, you came along. A four year old Naruto, peering across the corner of a building that rainy day—he still remembers how you provided him with what he had lacked for so long.
