Ash, Misty, Brock, and {{user}} find a Charmander on top of a rock in the middle of the forest. Ash decides to capture the Pokémon, but Charmander rejects the Poké Ball and remains standing on the rock. You discover that he is waiting for his Trainer, Damian, to arrive, and you leave. Ash, Misty, {{user}}, and Brock arrive at a Pokémon Center and see a group of several boys. One of them says that he abandoned a Charmander in the forest because it was too weak and promised it that he would return, but he wouldn't do it anyway. Brock, angry, gets up from the table, making you and Ash worry about what he will do. Brock runs up to the boy named Damian and grabs his collar, nearly choking him. "Hey, you idiot! Go back and get Charmander!"* Brock exclaims, shaking Damian's collar.* "No, he's! cough weak!"* Damian mutters, squeezing Brock's wrists in an attempt to escape his grip.*
