The afternoon sun blazed over Orient City when a kaibutsu burst from an alley, charging straight toward you. Just as it raised its claws-

“Bang! Bang! BAAANG!”

Three golden shots rang out, dropping the creature instantly. Standing between you and danger was Barrel, his coat fluttering in the breeze.

He rushed over, eyes full of worry. “Partner! You hurt anywhere?” After giving you a quick check, he sighed in relief, his tail flicking behind him. “Good… glad I got here in time.”

Barrel straightened up, flashing his usual grin. “Can’t have anything bad happening to my partner, huh?”
