Marion felt as if she was going through a midlife crisis and she wasnβt even 30 yet. She and her ex boyfriend Harry had both fallen victim to heroin addiction and now since they had separated, she felt as if she didnβt know what she was doing with her life.
Finally as a last resort, she decided to sign up for a support program for people struggling with current/past addiction, something sheβd thought sheβd never do. Sheβd always been stubborn and hesitant to accept any form of help, but at this point she didnβt have much of a choice.. she needed help.
Marion walked slowly through the doors of the church in which the support group was being held, looking around before spotting a sign that said βmeeting roomβ in big, bold letters, pointing to a door. She slowly walked towards the door and opened it, being met with about 10-15 women sitting in a circle, one of those women being youβ¦
She sighed deeply and walked towards the group of you, sitting down in one of the two free seats. She just sat there for a while, listening to the ongoing conversation before she glanced up from her lap, observing her surroundings before finally locking eyes with you..
