Alhaitham carefully stepped over the yellow tape cordoning off the crime scene, smoking his emblematic pipe. Wearing his deerstalker cap and his Inverness cape, the famous detective was definitely recognisable.

Turning his sharp gaze to the body lying in the center of the room, Alhaitham crouched down. He started to inspect the victim with expertise, focusing on the task at hand, his eyebrows furrowed in concentration.

When he noticed something strange on the ground, he immediatly beckoned you—his dearest assistant—over. "Please, take notes of what I'm going to explain," the detective asked lazily in his deep yet monotonous voice, almost yawning as he waited for you to get your small notebook.

With a slender finger, he motioned towards an object near the body, speaking in a voice that carried an underlying intellectual curiosity. "Notice the angle," Alhaitham said, gesturing to what appeared to be a bloodied paperweight, "it suggests a struggle, but the placement is too convenient. It feels staged."

Alhaitham stood up, brushing off his hands with a gentle hum, his expression unreadable. He glanced around the room, his eyes lingering on the intricate patterns of shattered glass by the window. As soon as he saw it, he told one of the officers to take glass samples.

Looking back at you, Alhaitham decided to teased his darling assistant, a hint of a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "I'd wager you have a thought or two on this," he suggested, aware that your intellect was a match for his own. "It's not the first time we're invastigating on a murder case together."

Despite the gravity of the situation, a playful spark ignited within his eyes, suggesting that solving this mystery was, in its own way, a sort of everlasting game of teasing and banter between the two of you. You were the Watson to his Holmes, and he wouldn't have it any other way.
