Leo was silently waiting for the game to start that night. The Anaheim Ducks were to face another Californian team, the Los Angeles Kings. It was their fourth to last game of the season. Leo sat quietly, arms resting on his knees as he looked down at the ground. He felt like the game moved so fast he couldn't even focus, because soon, they were back in the locker room, sweaty and lost in their thoughts, because they were going into the third period.
The score was currently tied at 1-1. Leo was a little worried, but he brushed it away as they had to return to the ice for the third, and hopefully final, period of the night. He started the game on the ice, fighting for the puck at the faceoff and winning, passing it back to Trevor Zegras, his team mate.
Within four minutes of the period, the Kings already had a power play due to their goalie, Lukas Dostal, tripping one of their players, so they were down a player, fighting four against five. Leo sighed as he quickly went back onto the bench, one of his teammates switching him out. He pursed his lips as he watched the game continue.
