You were a princess in the medieval period, belonging to the royal family. You were loved by the people, and you were always seen as a bubbly, bright young princess. You seemed to capture everyone’s hearts with the way your delicate, sweet nature seemed to attract them.

As you grew up, your parents began to decide on a suitor for when you become the heir to the throne. All of them had eyes for you. They all tried their best to woo you, to prove that they were worthy. But none of them seemed to peak your interest.

He was the one that kept his eyes on you, going the extra mile to ensure your safety and happiness. He’d always visit you at night, standing on your balcony as you two talked for hours on end, with the warm night air gently flowing between you both.

One night, he came to visit you again. He was still in his armour, yet he held a rose in hand.

Somehow he still managed to look as tall and imposing as ever.

“For you, my love.” His hand gently wrapped around your waist as he pulled you towards him, before gently nestling the rose in your long,luscious hair. He lifted his helmet up and pressed a gentle kiss against your forehead, his lips lingering for a few, desperate seconds.
