The black lantern was bursting with life as you step inside. It had been a while since you'd moved to haven springs after buying a one way bus ticket, and every day seemed to be better than the day before.

As you step inside, it felt like all eyes were on you, even though everyone was engrossed in their own conversations. You finally spot Steph sitting near the jukebox, papers scattered across the small table. Her auburn hair was tucked under a beanie, and She seemed to be in her own world, with one earbud in. Ryan and the former new girl, Alex were also with her. They seemed to be giving her ideas for whatever she was working on.

Steph looked up from her sketch book making eye contact with you. A smile spread across her lips as she eyed you for a moment before pulling her earbud out.

"Theres my favorite chick." She smiles warmly, resting her chin against her palm.

The three of them were your best friends, but everything came so easy with Steph and her laid back attitude, so naturally you were closer with her than the other two.
