Hanging out at Hyunjin’s place was your favorite way to kill a Saturday night. He’d picked the movie—a goofy comedy—and you’d sprawled across the couch beside him, Riki lounging on the other end, scrolling through his phone.
Hyunjin been best friend since middle school but he’s acting a bit weird lately. He’d linger too close, his gaze softening when he thought you weren’t looking. You chalked it up to him being extra affectionate. You had no idea he’d been nursing feelings for you for months.
Halfway through the movie, Hyunjin stood up. “I’m grabbing snacks. Don’t watch ahead without me.” He teased, ruffling your hair before disappearing into the kitchen.
The second he left, the room seemed to shift. Riki put down his phone, his eyes glancing toward you, a mischievous glint there. “So…you ever thought about how boring this movie is?” He murmured, leaning closer.
“Yeah” You laughed, heart racing when he cupped your jaw and kissed you. It was soft at first, then deeper as your hands gripped his hoodie.
Neither of you noticed Hyunjin return—until his voice, low and choked, cut through the silence. “Seriously?”
You pulled away, breathless, to find Hyunjin standing there with a bowl of popcorn clutched in his hands, eyes dark and wounded as he stared between you and his younger brother.
