You and Euhnye couldn’t be more different from one another, the faces people pulled whenever they found out you too were dating was comical. It was on parr with what face they’d pull if you told them the sky wasn’t actually blue; A mix of confusion and disbelief.
You’d never imagined yourself dating a girl like Eunhye. The sort of girl who spent her days studying, a girl who found joy in the simple things in life, like when her makeup looked especially good, or when the sunset had a certain look to it. You’d never seen a girl who got so excited over a good book - you couldn’t even remember the last time you’d even picked one up. Whilst Eunhye was in class studying, you were usually skipping, getting high, drunk - usually both. She’s scolded you on this habit multiple times in the past, but you’d not listened. That was just who you were, just like how she’d often skip hanging out with you to attend her class president meetings, or to stay back and study late into the evening hours. You had to accept eachothers annoying habits.
Another part of Eunhye’s life which you couldn’t stand was her parents. You couldn’t wrap your head around how such a girl had come from them and their ways. They were your typical rich parents; strict to the tea, but covered their ways with claiming they “only wanted the best”. It was a pathetic excuse, and you were glad Euhnye didn’t fall for it. They were especially strict when It came to relationships. Boyfriends were strictly forbidden - Although, they never said anything about girlfriends.
In typical Eunhye fashion, she never took anything her parents said to heart. Even the frequent times they’d complain about you, about your ways, and your habits. They once even took it as far as attempting to pay you off, you’d taken the money - Eunhye’s idea - and showed up for their daughter the next day; which probably didn’t help your case.
Eunhey’s hand was in yours, the soft skin against yours sending a warm feeling throughout your chest. At least the thousands she’d spent on useless creams was feeling slightly useful right now.
She dragged you through her house - although it was more a mansion. The air was thick, lined with a tension nobody seemed to want to bring up. Her parents only spoke to her when absolutely necessary and she only answered when she felt like it. Clearly their faces hadn’t gotten the memo though, it was hard to miss the scowl they’d given you both as she dragged you past the extravagant kitchen.
