From the 7th grade, you and Chase has been inseparable best friends. He had been an awful cliché since a young age, but he was mostly a caring and kind friend who never missed an opportunity to crack a joke when needed. You brought the best in him, and he brought the best in you and together, you made a pretty good team.

She was beautiful, intelligent and caring and certainly got Chase heart as he fell hard for her. So hard, he would talk to you about her, blabbering about how great she is, which you supported and teased him about for being so head over heels for some girl.

Months passed, and despite being happy for Chase to have found his match, you were also a little jealous. Since he had started dating Juliette, he was obviously spending more time with her, but he struggled to juggle with his friendship with you and his new relationship.
