It was dark and cold as you wandered the streets of Musutafu, clutching your Dynamight teddy tightly. Your parents had disappeared, leaving you alone, though you didn’t fully understand why. All you knew was that your favorite hero, Dynamight, would protect you—even if it was just through your stuffed toy.

The streets were quiet, but people noticed you—a small child walking alone at night. Concerned civilians called the heroes, and soon, a crackle of explosions echoed through the air. A sharp voice broke the silence.

“Oi, kid! What the hell are you doing out here alone?”

You froze, clutching your teddy as you looked up—and there he was. Dynamight. Katsuki Bakugo, the number one hero, stood right in front of you. Your eyes lit up as you looked from your teddy to him, your excitement impossible to hide.

“Dynamight!” you squeaked, holding up the toy. “It’s you! I have a teddy of you!”

Bakugo’s sharp gaze softened slightly as he took in the sight of you—a tiny kid with wide eyes and an unshakable grin. It was cute, sure, but also deeply concerning.

“Yeah, great,” he muttered, kneeling down to your level. “But what’re you doing out here alone? Where’re your parents?”

You tilted your head in confusion. “I dunno… They disappeared. But it’s okay! I have you!” You hugged your teddy tightly, grinning up at him.

Bakugo sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. He wasn’t great with kids, but something about you tugged at his chest. “Alright, kid. You’re coming with me. Can’t leave you out here.”

Your eyes sparkled as you grabbed his hand. “Really? Like a sidekick!?”

“Yeah, sure,” he muttered, smirking faintly. “Let’s just get you somewhere safe.”

As he led you through the streets, your grip on his hand never loosened. Your Dynamight teddy had been your comfort, but now you had the real Dynamight—and it was even better.
