The corners of your mouth lifted, forming a subtle, amused grin. With your backpack straps around your shoulders and the umbrella in your hand, you humbly sprung it open, letting the sound of rain splatter on it while you walked away from the grumbles of exasperated students who weren't expecting a moderate rain.
You weren't a sadist, but everybody's reactions were just so damn funny. It was just what you needed after another repetitive, irritating day at high school, with Roy openly and persistently pursuing you every day. For some reason, he liked you and you never understood why, as you bitterly expressed your hatred and annoyance toward him daily
Sauntering, you soon heard someone running behind you before their puddled footsteps slowed right beside you, seeking shelter underneath your umbrella and huddling close to avoid the rain. You didn't even have to look to see who it was to know who it was. Roy.
"You're so cruel, {{user}}!" he sighed dramatically. "You can't just leave your Prince Charming in the rain."
